take a peek into my life👀

[ joi ] ~ noun

A feeling of great pleasure or gladness not based on circumstance.

Most people live life on autopilot regardless of whether or not their career or relationships bring them joy.

This is what I’m here to shift in our world. Because a life without vibrant joy, both in the workplace and at home, is mere existence.

Personal Motto

They say a picture tells a thousand words… But this t-shirt says more!

Dream ~ Believe ~ Manifest ~ Action ~ Repeat

I’m a prolific advocate for mental health, suicide prevention, raising emotionally resilient kids and nature conservation.

I’m also a forever-student of conscious creation with a soft spot for trees and the wisdom they breathe into our world.

I believe it’s time to step up and help each other manifest our wildest dreams so we can all thrive and shine the way we were born to.

Dedicated to Living our Dreams

I’ve been around a few blocks so I can speak confidently about living a life of joy, connection, creativity and love.

My mission is to educate, inspire and empower people to tap into their intrinsic creativity: a gift we all possess.

Most people tend to forget their creative faculties as life passes by. More importantly, most people forget their true natures and eventually see their lifelong dreams as distant memories.

I get it: life has a way of getting in the way.

The kids, the partner, the job, laundry. Our responsibilities start to feel cumbersome. This is where I come in.

I am here to help uplift humanity one event at a time.

One of my superpowers is bringing out the best in people, so if you’re missing the X-factor in your life or business… let’s talk!

What Brings Me More Joy:

  • I am blessed with two gorgeous children, Cortney (oldest) and Zac #momlife

  • I have two Golden Retrievers, Dexter & Murphy (Coworkers)

  • I married my high school sweetheart

  • Fave country song: Toes (Zac Brown Band)

  • Fave gospel song: Waymaker

  • Fave music genre: the 80's

  • Funeral Song: Forever Young (Alphaville)

  • Favorite movie: Mamma Mia

  • Fave saying: Faith over Fear

  • Fave outfit (OOTD) - my pajamas

  • Fave animal: dogs

  • Fave thing to make: candles (I’m renowned as an Experience Expert when it comes to making candles)

  • Fave activities: boating, hiking, playing with my dogs, dancing, writing and drinking tea & coffee with my friends

  • What most people don’t know: I had a dog named Buddy, a weenie dog, who endured IVDD twice. I nursed him back to health, not-so-merrily expressing his pee and poop for 14 weeks. #dogmomlife

Let’s Connect & Create

“You don’t become what you want. You become what you believe.”

~ Oprah

As I’m sure is the case with you, my family is top priority for me.

We do our best raising our kids, and then we send them off into the big, wide world hoping that they’ll live the life of their dreams without too many oopsies!

At the end of the day, our life is made priceless by whom we journey with… not the materials we accumulate along the way.

I’m a lover of people, so community is one of my five favorite C words!

Creativity, compassion, connection and candles are the other four.

This charming truck is a special space in our neighborhood. A member of our community created this magical little scene for everyone to enjoy.

The message: life is about love, connection and having fun as we contribute to the collective in our own unique ways.

My Book

More Joy is now a best seller on Amazon!

We all go through seasons in our lives where we need to experience More Joy.

If you are in that season of life, and even if you are not, you have uncovered the right book. Inside this book, you will discover ways to help you walk through life's trials and still walk cheerfully with joy in your step! I know because this book was written during some of my less "joyful" times, yet I practiced intentional acts of joy – leading me to a life of joy and fulfillment every day. My deepest desire is that this book will do that for you. Let the joy journey begin! – Cindi Cohn

“Comparison is the thief of joy.”

~ Mark Twain

Personal Development

I’ve always been a student of life so I’m constantly adding to my repertoire through mentorship, coaching and courses.

In early 2022, I attended an event in order to learn more from one of my favorite teachers: Sheila Walsh.

I boldly asked for her autograph, and she said Yes!

If you don’t ask, the answer is always no. Be brave!

Dream, travel, explore, ask questions, learn, re-learn and do it all again as often as you can.

You are designed to be your best YOU!

Media Interviews

I’m often asked to be a featured guest on platforms.

I’ve always enjoyed being on air, so doing media interviews is one of my favorite activities as the CEO & Founder of my brand.

If you’d like to discuss a media opportunity, please email me.

I’ll be ready to blow your audience away with meaningful insights, edu-tainment and lifetime wisdom covering a broad range of topics!

Mental Health

I’m passionate about all things mental health, emotional wellness and holistic wellbeing, so I partnered with Ashley Evans in support of Mental Health Awareness.

I’ve personally donated to a worthy cause for products purchased from the PsychLife Tee Co, and I invite you to do the same.

Ashley’s company was born from a desire to create a positive experience for all those who suffer in silence.

Let’s smash the stigma together!

My Coffee Tribe

It’s been said that, “Good ideas start with brainstorming. Great ideas start with coffee.” I’m sticking with this!

Every Saturday morning, a group of us get together at our favorite local coffee shop to indulge in our java fix.

Our beautiful, charming town reminds me of Hallmark movies: a close community full of love, joy, friendship and happy endings.

PS: Did you know that after crude oil, coffee is the most sought after commodity in the world? #nowyouknow

Life Lessons from Dogs

Norah Roberts once said, “Everything I know, I learned from dogs.”

As a dog lover myself with happy fur-kids at home, I’ve learned many life lessons from them. The photos below attest to their wisdom...

Lessons like unconditional love, loyalty, be present, play more, catch the sunrise, and nap whenever you can!

My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.”

~ Maya Angelou

The Inspiration for my Spark

This is my Nana.

She lived to 100, and she was the #1 person who shaped me and guided my life path.

✅She was the ONE reason I was not homeless
✅She was the ONE reason I did not harm myself
✅She was the ONE reason I believed someone loved me

Everybody has their special someone, the human who first sparked their inner flame.

YOU can be that person for someone else.

The Power of One

Only ONE voice is needed to activate change. Helping people just ONE human at a time is all it takes.

~ Every ONE person you help *matters*
~ Every ONE person you impact is *huge*

For every life you touch, another two are lit up. We don’t burn out our flames by uplifting others. We create more light.

You don't need millions of followers, friends or dollars.

Would you like some private training so you can transform your life by activating the power of One?

Core Values

Deep, strong roots create juicy fruits and more room for growth. Taking wisdom from trees, I’m expanding my team based on our firmly rooted company values:

~ Joy

~ Love

~ Faith

~ Kindness

~ Compassion

Lakeside Living

After years of dreaming about living on the waters edge in the foothills of the Smokies, we moved to White Pine in Tennessee.

Today, I get to sip my morning coffee while overlooking Douglas Lake. #joy
